St Andrews – 2012

Noreen expreses many thanks to Tim Kotzar, Principal of St Andrews Lutheran College on the Gold Coast, for again providing a glowing testimonial. Annual Flu vaccine clincs have been provided to St Andrews staff since 2008.

Dear Noreen

On behalf of the staff at St Andrews Lutheran College I write in appreciation of your annual visits to our College. Through your service we are able to provide the opportunity for staff to have their annual ‘flu vaccinations and also an array of other vaccinations that you offer.

Staff now request you by name and many have commented that you have the knack of being able to get the needle in and out before they are really aware that they have been vaccinated. Even staff who have a severe dislike of needles have allowed you to vaccinate them.

As for the College, we are pleased to provide the opportunity for staff to have the convenience of the vaccination at their workplace. The College bears the cost of this and we are sure that it has prevented a lot of down time with staff needing to take sick days. As a College we understand the high rate of cross infection from especially our younger students to their teachers and we are only too pleased to try and do our best to lessen the impact of illness on our staff.

Our staff have also been very pleased to take advantage of your service to have the Triple Antigen and Hepatitis vaccinations. Some years ago two staff contracted Whooping Cough from a student and they suffered many weeks of severe illness and time away from work. The coughing was incapacitating for the staff members and has certainly alerted staff and parents of the need for prevention from this dreadful disease.

Noreen, we look forward to seeing you and your staff once again in early March 2013.

Yours faithfully

Tim Kotzar
